Living the brand is to believe, understand and imbibe the core values upon which the United Bank for Africa (UBA) is founded with a willigness to express it in our day to day life.
These foundational principles, drive and influence how we see our organisation, how we see ourselves as part of the organisation, how the organisation sees us and how we effectuate our roles as memebers of the tribe.
To live the brand is to own the task, go the extra mile, to always have the end in mind and innovately solve customers needs.
In order to really live these core values, I make positive affirmations daily that go in these lines; “I love my job”, “i am a UBA Brand Ambassador’’, “I love it here”, “I am in a good place to grow”.
Words are powerful, the more you say them, the more they register in your subconcious, making you believe them and eventually bringing those words to life – this ultimately reflects in the way you deliver on your KPIs, the work feels light, because it is done passionately.
Living the brand, is to first accept who you are, identifying your unique qualities, skills and talents beyond your certificate, it means to surpass customers expectations without anyone looking or asking.
I cannot over emphasise on the need to run with passion, living the brand is to reflect integrity, genuinety and professionalism in dealing with our colleagues as well as in serving our esteemed customers.
