UBA Sierra Leone Senior Executives receive the 2023 Sierra Ovation Awards for 100 Most Outstanding Professionals of the Year

UBA Sierra Leone Senior Executives receive the 2023 Sierra Ovation Awards for 100 Most Outstanding Professionals of the Year

 

United Bank for Africa Sierra Leone Limited has on Thursday 1st June, 2023 received an award in recognition for outstanding customer services over the years, contribution, and commitment to the social and economic development of Sierra Leone. This is as a result of UBA’s outstanding impact on the Sierra Leone economy and the Banking Industry and was selected because it demonstrates business excellence and the highest standards for ethical conduct, integrity, and social responsibility.

Nine (9) Executive Management Committee (EMC) were awarded the Sierra Ovation Awards for 100 Most Outstanding Professionals of the Year yesterday evening at a banquet black-tie dinner at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

The names of the awardees are as follows:

1. Mohamed Alhajie Samoura – Acting MD/CEO

2. Chiedu Ngene – Chief Operating Officer

3. Victoria Olukotun – Head Retail Banking

4. Juliana Asare – Chief Finance Officer

5. Deinma Iyagba – Head, Treasury

6. Kehinde Apata – Country Head, Internal Control

7. Sallieu Sesay – Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications

8. Mohamed Sillah – Head, Information Technology Support

9. Emmanuel Komba – Chief Risk Officer

The award ceremony was organized by the African Ovation Media Limited and the awards were presented at the banquet dinner at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Aberdeen, Freetown.

In attendance was the COO of UBA Mr. Chiedu Ngene and a cross-section of Executive Management Committee members.
