United Bank for Africa (SL) Ltd  is calling for the procurement of Contractor Services for the Construction of UBA SL Kono Branch (full Bungalow) at Old Yengema Road, Kono, Sierra Leone and now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the project comprising of the following scope of works:

Building Design:

1. • Architectural design and construction of a modern and functional banking facility.
   • Compliance with local building codes and regulations.

1. Structural Works:

1. • Foundation construction to support the full bungalow structure.
   • Construction of walls, columns, and beams using approved materials.

1. Roofing:

1. • Installation of a durable roofing system to provide protection from the elements.

1. Flooring:

1. • Flooring works using quality materials suitable for a banking environment.

1. Interior Finishes:

1. • Installation of interior finishes, including wall paint, ceiling, and other decorative elements.

1. Utilities and Services:

1. • Installation of plumbing and electrical systems compliant with banking facility standards.
   • Provision for air conditioning, lighting, and other necessary utilities.

1. Security Measures:

1. • Implementation of security features, including secure doors and windows.
   • Integration of necessary security systems for the bank.

1. Site Development:

1. • Earthworks and grading as required for the construction site.
   • Landscaping around the building to enhance the overall aesthetics.

1. Access and Parking:

1. • Construction of access roads and parking facilities for staff and customers.

Bid Documents

Inspect and collect the bidding documents during office hours: 10:00 to 16:00hours GMT, from Tuesday, 6th February 2024 to Friday, 20th February 2024 at the address given below.

A complete set of bidding documents in English will be given to interested eligible bidders cost free at the address given below. 

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14.00hours on Friday, 20^th   February 2024.  All bids must be accompanied by:

Evidence of Business Registration Certificate 

A Valid Tax Assessment and Clearance certificate from the National Revenue Authority

A Valid Clearance NASSIT Certificate.

A Bid Security of not less than 3% of the bid price.

Evidence of similar works completed.

Civil works certificate (Preferably class 1 contractor or above)              

Bids must be delivered to the address below, on/or before Friday , 20^th  February 2024 at 14.00hours GMT. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected and will be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below, on the Wednesday, 21^st February 2024  14.00hours GMT immediately after the closing of the bids.
